Competition Term & Conditions

Cape Wine Crafters – Wine Moments Competition

1. Eligibility

The competition is open to residents of South Africa who are 18 years or older at the time of entry. Proof of age and South African residency may be required before prizes are awarded. Employees, agents, distributors, or affiliates of Cape Wine Crafters, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter. Entries submitted on behalf of another person will not be accepted.

2. How to Enter

Complete the official online entry form via the link provided in the post or bio. Upload up to three (3) original photos showing how and where you enjoy your Cape Wine Crafters wine. Follow and tag @capewinecrafters on Instagram or Facebook in your posts. Only entries submitted via the official form will be considered valid. No purchase is required to enter the competition.

3. Competition Period

Entries close on 25 November 2025 at 23:59 SAST. Late, incomplete, or corrupted entries will not be accepted. Cape Wine Crafters reserves the right to extend or shorten the entry period if necessary.

4. Prizes

Five (5) winners will each receive 12 bottles of wine per month for 3 months — a total of 36 bottles per winner. To remain eligible, each winner must post one photo per wine (12 photos total) over the 3-month period, tagging and/or collaborating with @capewinecrafters in each post. Failure to meet this posting condition may result in forfeiture of the remaining prize deliveries. The prize is not transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may not be substituted by the winner. Cape Wine Crafters reserves the right to replace the prize (or part of it) with a similar item of equal or greater value if the original product is unavailable. Prizes will be delivered within South Africa only, to a valid physical address provided by each winner.

5. Judging & Winner Selection

Winners will be selected based on creativity, style, and atmosphere of their submitted photos. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Winners will be contacted via email or direct message on social media. If a winner cannot be reached within 7 days, an alternate winner may be selected. Winners will also be announced publicly on Cape Wine Crafters’ official social media pages.

6. Usage of Content

By entering, participants grant Cape Wine Crafters a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use their submitted photos, name, and social media handle in marketing materials, on websites, or on social media — with appropriate credit. Entrants confirm that all submitted content is their own original work, free from third-party rights. Cape Wine Crafters will not sell or distribute personal information to any third party.

7. General Terms

By entering, participants accept all Terms & Conditions of the competition. Cape Wine Crafters reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice if circumstances require. The company is not responsible for lost, delayed, or failed entries due to technical, internet, or platform-related issues. No responsibility will be accepted for entries submitted via unauthorised channels. This competition and its Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa and are subject to the provisions of the Liquor Act (59 of 2003). Alcohol prizes will not be supplied to, or collected by, anyone under the age of 18.
