We are innovators, explorers, curious creatives, and homebodies. We are young, old and everything in between. Most of all – we are lovers of wine.

Creating and exploring wine, testing and turning it. Some of us like to push boundaries, some of us like to keep it old school, and some of us just like wine, good quality wine.

We are located in the most beautiful of places, Robertson Wine Valley. Specifically – Bonnievale. Inbetween hills and rivers our vineyards stand basking in the sun, drenched by the rain and dancing in the wind. Originally you could find us on shelves with Weltevrede written proudly across our chest, but now we stand on our own two feet, or should I say heels. Having found our voice and identity we now proudly display the name of Cape Wine Crafters.

Weltevrede and its estate is still our home, nurtured and grown in its vineyards, crushed and crafted in its cellars, our place of origin has not changed. Our history and the expertise with which we were first conceived and crafted have not been touched, but we now have a name of our own, a name we proudly display – Cape Wine Crafters.

With a name we can call our own and a heart full of excitement we are eager to write our own story, find our own place. Will you join us, in writing this story, making new memories and meeting new people? Will you come along as we discover, share and enjoy everything the vine has to offer.

We have a place set for those who love to indulge, those who love to explore, those who love to discover the depth and complexity of a well-crafted fine wine.
